Union Plus helps members protect home before financial disaster hits

January 2008 - To help union members in these troubled times, the Union Plus “Save My Home” Hotline has been created to provide free education, information, and repayment counseling.

The Save My Home Hotline offers needed advice to homeowners—union members as well as their adult children and parents—who are:

  • behind in their payments
  • already in foreclosure, or
  • looking for advice in how to budget and restructure their debt.

Don’t wait until trouble comes knocking at your door. Check out the Union Plus Save My Home program below or State of Ohio services to prevent foreclosure.

Get Started today

1 - Free, confidential credit counseling is available 24 hours a day. Get free no-obligation advice from HUD-certified housing counselors by calling 1-866-490-5361.

Go to UnionPlus.org/Save for more details.

2 - When you call the hotline, ask about the AFL-CIO grants designed to assist union members with financial hardship due to disability or unemployment if this situation applies to you.

3 - Check out the Union Plus budgeting and debt reduction tips, tools, and calculators to get your financial house in order and avoid placing family's home at risk for foreclosure. LEARN MORE

The hotline is offered through Money Management International (MMI).
