Union Plus helps members protect home before financial disaster hits
January 2008 - To help union members in these troubled times, the Union Plus “Save My Home” Hotline has been created to provide free education, information, and repayment counseling.
The Save My Home Hotline offers needed advice to homeowners—union members as well as their adult children and parents—who are:
- behind in their payments
- already in foreclosure, or
- looking for advice in how to budget and restructure their debt.

2 - When you call the hotline, ask about the AFL-CIO grants designed to assist union members with financial hardship due to disability or unemployment if this situation applies to you.
