Workshops
Building upon Gov. Strickland’s commitment to wellness, this workshop is designed to educate and mobilize leaders and activists about the union and state’s partnership called "Population Health Management." This collaboration is aimed at identifying individuals who may be at risk for certain diseases and offering ways and incentives for taking steps to prevent a future illness. The workshop will also take a look at rising health care costs and their impact on our union’s ability to bargain for other pay and benefits, as well as the real economic value of programs that proactively intervene in managing and preventing disease.
