Support political action
committee, participate in morning event The OCSEA Governmental Affairs Committee will host its biennial PEOPLE Fun Walk / Run on Saturday, Aug. 15. Participants will meet at 7 a.m. in the Millennium’s hotel lobby for a one-mile walk. Prizes will be awarded for the top three fund raisers and anyone who participates gets a free t-shirt. Participants are encouraged to register by noon on Friday, Aug. 14. However, registrations will be accepted as late as Saturday morning. All donations raised from the one-mile walk through downtown Columbus will benefit the Political Action Fund (PAC), which supports the campaigns of pro-worker, labor-friendly candidates.
