The business of the 28th OCSEA Biennial Convention involves reviewing resolution proposals and amendment proposals for the union's constitution and bylaws.

Elected delegates play an important role in representing the interests of subordinate body members. Several resources are provided below for delegates and those wanting to understand convention-related procedures:

  1. Refer to the Convention Delegates Guide 2009 for procedures on:
    • Addressing the convention
    • Amending motions
    • Reconsidering actions
    • Closing Debate

  2. OCSEA uses Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised as its guide for setting convention rules.

  3. Leaders should refer to the OCSEA Elections Procedures (PDF) for Subordinate Bodies before holding convention delegate elections.
