| Take Charge! Live Well! is an exciting new health and wellness program brought to you by the state's labor management Joint Health Care Committee (JHCC). |
OAKS tracks preventive care incentives; Next batch of incentives paid after Feb. 29
Jan. 28, 2008 - The Joint Health Care Committee is offering two updates on the Take Charge! Live Well!
program: Incentives and Preventive Care.
- Incentives – The first TCLW incentives were included in the January 18 paychecks. Employees who participated in and completed a Health Assessment or online lifestyle behavior change program by November 30 received incentive payments ranging from $25 to $100.
The next incentive payments are scheduled for the last pay of February, February 29.
- Preventive Care – Incentives for preventive care have not yet been included in paychecks. These will be included in some future paycheck, the date of which is currently unknown.
It is not necessary for employees/spouses to “apply” for the preventive care incentives.
The TCLW providers will run a computer search of medical claims, note those for preventive care, and notify OAKS of the incentive amount the individual should be paid.
