Get involved by discussing what's happening in your workplace, learning about state agency trends
OCSEA offers three ways to get involved and get talking about trends and challenges for union members who are employed in information technology classifications.
1 The IT Forum - Join other IT union members for the OCSEA IT Forum. Meetings are usually scheduled monthly.
2 Brown Bags - Set up an informal "brown bag" lunchtime gathering at your workplace or request help getting one started. Ask your coworkers to bring their own lunch and ideas strengthening employment security IT state workers. If you're interested in setting up a brown bag, please email the details to strout@ocsea.org so we can share the date and time on the IT calendar.
3 Discussion Boards - Start an online conversation about IT issues that impact you on the job. Get input from other professional and voice your opinion.
