The conference was designed for public employees who influence or participate in technology decisions or implementations at any level.

While the event is aimed mostly at management, it would provide insight to union leaders who are working to protect members employed in information technology jobs.

Here's what State of Ohio decision-makers are saying:

"This is Ohio's fifth year hosting the Digital Summit with Government Technology. This event provides a great forum for state and local government IT decision makers to network and discuss opportunities for shared service collaborations as well as other current IT issues and trends. We also look to the Digital Summit as an in-state educational opportunity due to its high quality and innovative sessions. I appreciate Government Technology's diligence in making the Ohio Digital Summit a premiere technology event."

- Mary Carroll, Interim Chief Information Officer, State of Ohio

"Constantly accelerating change is the standard of technology, and I remind myself of this every time I attend the GovTech Summit. It allows me to share my experiences and those of others, while ensuring that what I am doing or planning to do will be effective for our organization."

- William Hill, Chief Information Officer, City of Dayton, Ohio

"Every year, for the past four years, state and local IT managers and leaders gather for the Ohio Digital Government Summit. The topics and information presented at this yearly event have proven to be extremely timely and valuable to the local and state IT managers and decision makers. The conference provides us with the information we need to keep abreast of Ohio government information technology programs, initiatives, needs and issues. This event has served as the basis for improved collaboration and cooperation on technology projects and problem resolution across branches at the state and local level in Ohio. The Ohio Digital Government Summit is the one yearly event that provides direct value to all our state-wide initiatives. Thank you so much for making it possible!"

- Mary Beth Parisi, Manager, Technology Policy & Planning, The Supreme Court of Ohio
