Pathways to Excellence participants explore continuous improvement plans, agency roles

Nov. 7, 2007 - Quality advocates from around the state gathered at yesterday's Pathways to Excellence event to look toward the future and start discussing how continuous improvement efforts are shaping under the new administration.

The Union Quality Network had gathered on Nov. 2, prior to this Pathways event, to discuss the union's role in the new administration's process improvement program.

Steve Wall showed an illustration (below) that identified the overlap between the focus of the 1990s and the focus of today—and beyond. Earlier continuous process improvement efforts were driven by the Quality Services through Partnership initiative, established in 1991.

The event, sponsored by the Ohio Quality Network, took place Nov. 6 at the Bureau of Workers Compensation in downtown Columbus.
