Contract with the State of Ohio
The OCSEA Contract is the three-year collective bargaining agreement between the union and the State of Ohio that dictates wages, hours, and terms of employment. It is bargained by the OCSEA Negotiations Team, made up of OCSEA’s Executive Officers and elected delegates by bargaining unit.

Local Government and Alternative Contracts
OCSEA members in the following workplaces have negotiated separate collective bargaining agreements.
The OCSEA Constitution and By-laws governs business of the union and is reviewed and amended every two years by elected subordinate body delegates to the OCSEA Biennial Convention.

The AFSCME International Constitution also governs OCSEA’s decision-making processes. The Constitution is reviewed and amended every two years at the AFSCME International Convention by AFSCME affiliate delegates from around the country.
