Every job held by an OCSEA member started with a bill introduced at the State House. Every department or public program that OCSEA members work for was created or authorized through the legislative process. Every paycheck that you receive comes from funds that legally must be appropriated by our State Representatives and State Senators. Even the very contract that we work under is subject to legislative approval.
