BUP11 is canceled; One-day S.B. 5 member mobilization event scheduled
Due to serious threats as a result of Senate Bill 5 and the impending budget, OCSEA is committing all available resources to protect the security of every member and their right to bargain collectively. To fight back against the extraordinary assaults on public employees by anti-labor politicians OCSEA will hold a member mobilization event called Fight Back Now... Next Steps on Sat. April 2, one of the days originally set aside for the BUP Conference. The focus of the one-day event will be specifically on Senate Bill 5 and the threats facing public employees. The event will take place at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Columbus and is open to all OCSEA activists.
