Retirement training to begin this fall

Sept. 25, 2006 - The Union Education Trust now offers a Planning Your Retirement training program free of charge to OCSEA bargaining unit employees. Spouses and significant others are encouraged to attend.

The comprehensive, 12-hour program will help members identify their retirement needs and design a personalized plan to help them achieve their goals in retirement. These sessions last a day and a half (including registration and breaks). The training will be held:

• Friday, Nov. 3, 6 - 9 p.m.
• Saturday, Nov. 4, 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

The session will cover a variety of topics including:

• OPERS retirement and health care benefits,
• deferred compensation,
• Union Benefits Trust
• financial and legal planning,
• OCSEA’s retiree chapter and health and wellness.
