Pay upgrade on the way for four classifications

Oct. 25, 2006 - OCSEA has recently worked out a lot of the issues having to do with the four positions that were upgraded as a part of this year’s classification review.

As a result, those affected can expect to see an increase in their paychecks within the next couple of pay periods. The increase will be back-dated to July 1, 2006.
The classifications that received an upgrade are Plant/Pest Control Specialists, Investigators, LPNs and Occupational Therapy Assistants.

The union has filed a grievance on behalf of the Meat Inspectors who were denied an upgrade.
