News News impacting public employee union members ODNR agreement will increase union positions; Cast your vote by Aug. 20 July 26, 2007 - OCSEA and management in ODNR have agreed on the creation of a pilot program that would increase the number of qualified and certified water and wastewater treatment operators in the state parks. A proposed Memorandum of Understanding would create one full-time and nine part-time treatment plant positions. An informational mailing, a Q & A, an official ballot and return envelope will be mailed no later than July 30 to approximately 300+ bargaining unit employees whose promotion rights (Article 17) may be impacted by the MOU and who are working in pay ranges 2, 3, 4, 5, 24, 25 and 26. Only OCSEA members in these pay ranges may vote. Fair share fee payers must sign and return a membership card with their completed ballot in order to vote. Union members are encouraged to attend an informational meeting at one of the following locations during the month of August:
Ballots must be returned to OCSEA by Mon., Aug. 20, deadline and will be counted on Wed., Aug. 22. A self-addressed stamped envelope will be included in the mailing of ballots. See Related
