Womens' Action Committee Conference set for May 30 - June 1 at Salt Fork Resort

Artwork: Life comes at you fast... Be ready. The 2008 Womens' Action Committee Conference is set for May 30 - June 1.April 2, 2008 - Ohio's First Lady Frances Strickland is scheduled to speak on Saturday, May 31, at the 2008 Womens' Action Committee Conference.

WAC members have been planning this exciting venue for months. View the tentative agenda now.

You won't want to miss out on valuable workshops and interesting speakers who will address the event theme, "Life Comes at You Fast... Be Ready!"

But the event isn't all about life planning and work. Early registrants are invited to relax and kick up their heels during line dancing lessons Friday evening.

 Event Registration

Friday evening registration will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Registration will continue Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.  

 Costs

The event registration fee is $95. The deadline to register is May 16, 2008.  We will not accept registration forms without payment.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE. 

You may purchase additional meal tickets for guests, however, they must be purchased in advance.  You must purchase meal tickets for children as well.  No meal tickets will be sold at the conference. Please indicate extra meal purchases on your registration form.The prices are as follows: 

  • Breakfast (buffet) - $12.00
  • Lunch (buffet) - $16.00
  • Dinner (buffet) - $27.00
  • Child - $7.95,

 Accommodations

Room reservations are to be made through Salt Fork Resort at 740-435-9000. The cut-off date for room reservations is April 29, 2008.  Rooms will not be guaranteed after the cut off date.  Room cancellations must be made one week in advance for a full refund (no exceptions).
