Chapter 2599 to host health, education fairs

April 11, 2008 - The leadership team of ODJFS Chapter 2599, in conjunction with ODJFS, is hosting a series of Health & Education Fairs in late April at worksites in Columbus.

The fairs will run 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the locations listed below.

April 23 - 4020 E 5th
April 24 - 4200 E 5th
April 29 - Riffe Center (location update!)

Chapter President Debra King hopes these events will help members who are seeking details about union-negotiated health and education benefits.

Representatives from the Union Education Trust and the Union Benefits Trust as well as representatives from 15 colleges and health insurance providers will be on hand to field member questions and offer program details.

Other union leaders, chapter officers, stewards, and staff also will be available to talk about a variety union resources and programs.
