News News impacting public employee union members OCSEA grieves loss of friend, parliamentarian - Maurice L. "Snookey" Reed
Maurice L. "Snookey" died Wednesday, May 6. Over the years, union staff, leaders and hundreds of delegates to OCSEA's biennial conventions had the pleasure of getting to know Reed, who was a repeat presenter at the "New Delegates" workshop and helped union leaders keep order at the podium and on the convention floor. He will be especially missed by many for his easy smile, friendship and expertise. His going home services will be held at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church; 117 South Yellow Springs Street; Springfield, Ohio 45506 on Wednesday, May 13. Viewing will be at 9 a.m., the family will arrive at 10 .m. and the services will begin at 11 a.m. Arrangements are being handled by Porter-Qualls Funeral Home; 823 South Yellow Springs Street; Springfield, Oh 45560 (937) 325-1447.
