Share June 16, 2010 - Today, Ohio Dept. of Rehabilitation and Correction employees are being asked participate in a mass call-in day to their state legislators to get them to reject a dangerous prison privatization proposal. Senate Bill 269 would create a Prison Privatization Commission charged with developing a plan to transfer the operation and management of at least one-half of the state’s correctional institutions by December 31 of 2011 to the private sector.
