Take Charge! Live Well! incentive rewards paid to 26,000-plus state employees

May 20, 2008 - Taking preventive care measures is paying off for state employees' health and wallets.

More than 26,000 state employees will receive a Take Charge! Live Well! incentive reward in their May 23 paychecks.

These incentives are paid to employees who:

• Completed a health assessment

• Completed online or telephone health coaching

• Completed an online lifestyle behavior change program

• Participated in a worksite health screening

• Received a preventive care service between July 1, 1007 and March 31, 2008 (For Aetna and Medical Mutual members only; UnitedHealthcare, Paramount, and The Health Plan members will be in a future paycheck)

Incentives earned by employees enrolled in a state health plan and their enrolled spouses are paid in the paycheck under “Other Earnings.” Check out the list of frequently asked questions now.

Take Charge! Live Well! is an exciting new health and wellness program brought to you by the state's labor-management Joint Health Care Committee (JHCC).
