Labor, management agree to review IT classifications

Feb. 19, 2008 - The Office of Information Technology in conjunction with the Office of Classification and Compensation, the Office of Collective Bargaining and OCSEA is conducting an Information Technology classification review.

A joint communication from OCSEA and the State of Ohio was issued last week:

A team of subject matter experts are working together to update the IT portion of the classification plan.  We will communicate progress periodically as significant milestones are accomplished. We will do our best to keep you informed. 

The union and management are partnering to address a significant need. Currently, we are at the conceptual stage. This is a long term project in anticipation of upcoming contract negotiations.
