Receptions scheduled for to be announced

 1  The Professional Advisory/IT Reception will take place on Thursday, Aug. 23.

 2  All delegates and alternates who are members of AFSCME’s PEOPLE President’s Club and the VIP Club are invited to a PEOPLE reception on Thursday, Aug. 23.

PEOPLE is AFSCME’s Political Action Committee and engages in lobbying, and support of candidates who support public employee issues. Only members who contribute $1.50 or more per paycheck to the PEOPLE program will be admitted.

For those who are not yet members of PEOPLE, contact the PEOPLE Liaison at 800-969-4702 or 614-865-2646 to receive a PEOPLE card.  You can also sign a PEOPLE card to join at the convention at the PEOPLE booth.

Delegates and Alternates will be required to show proof of membership in one of the clubs to attend the reception.  PEOPLE pins, PEOPLE membership cards, or pay stubs will be accepted as proof that evening.  Since this reception is only for PEOPLE members, spouses or other guests who are not PEOPLE members will not be admitted.
