Dates set for contract negotiations; Wear your Union Power bracelet to support team

Nov. 15, 2005 - The first day of bargaining is just two weeks away. The OCSEA Negotiating Team and the State of Ohio will exchange bargaining proposals on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Bargaining begins the next day and continues throughout the weeks of December and January.

On these bargaining days, union members are asked to wear a green Union Power wrist band in support of the OCSEA Negotiations Team.

Need a wrist band? Chapters can place orders for wristbands at 50 cents each by sending a check payable to "OCSEA" and mailing it to OCSEA / Union Power, 390 Worthington Rd. Ste. A, Westerville, Ohio 43082. Include the address shipping information, indicating where the wristbands should be sent.

The current contract expires on Feb. 28, 2006.
