Study released regarding state of MR/DD centers

Feb. 3, 2006 - A study of Ohio’s Developmental Centers was released this week with no recommendations for specific closures.

Although the Dept. of MR/DD is trying to spin the study to accommodate their philosophy of closing more centers, the study team took up the union’s suggestions to look at expanding the role of the developmental centers to provide services for special populations and community providers.
