If you requested an Absent Voters Ballot, remember to mail it in by deadline
Do you know how to cast your vote using an absent voter
ballot? The new early voting provision allows anyone to vote by an absent voter ballot without stating a reason why. Prior to the new law, only those with a valid medical excuse or other legitimate reason could vote "absentee" in Ohio. The deadline to request an Absent Voter Ballot was Oct. 3. LEARN MORE
Prepare now for Nov. 7 General Election. Mark your calendar for a few important dates.
Nov. 4, 2006 - Applications by mail for absent voter ballots must be received by boards of elections by noon (three days before election).
Nov. 7, 2006 - General Election; Polls from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Take your I.D. with you. Also, print the OCSEA/AFSCME endorsement list to reference labor-friendly candidates.
