Participate in local candidate screenings; District Grassroots Committees to host union screenings

April 29, 2008 - OCSEA District Grassroots Committees (DGCs) have scheduled candidate screenings during the months of April and May.

DGC recommendations are due no later May 31.

OCSEA members are encouraged to attend local meetings and participate in the union's endorsement process. Check out the partial listing of local meetings below.

The OCSEA Statewide Endorsement meeting is set for Friday, June 20, from 10 a.m. - Noon at OCSEA Headquarters in Westerville.

The statewide endorsement committee is comprised of the union's board of directors, the DGC chairs and co-chairs, the union's Governmental Affairs Department, and field staff assigned to the grassroots committees.
