VOTE EARLY

In Ohio, anyone can vote early and there are two ways in which you can vote.
LEARN MORE

IN PERSON: There is an early voting location in every county in Ohio. Click here to find your early vote polling place or call 614-466-2655 or download schedules for Franklin (PDF), Summit (PDF), and Lucas (PDF) counties.

BY MAIL: Download a copy of the absentee ballot request form (PDF) and follow the instructions, or call 614-466-2655. Return the ballot by Nov. 1, 2008, to your county Board of Elections Office.

Fall 2008 - On Election Day, Nov. 4, we expect a record turnout in Ohio cities like Columbus, including many first-time voters. Staff at the polls need to be able to help these voters cast their ballots. However, in polling places like yours and mine, there may not be enough poll workers to make this election run smoothly.

The results could be long lines and voters giving up and not voting.

Without well-trained poll workers, voters mistakenly may be given provisional ballots that won’t be counted or asked for ID not mandated by law.

Help ensure that every eligible American who wants to vote can do so and has his or her ballot counted. Become a poll worker!
