Leadership conference offers variety of workshops, presentations

July 13, 2005 - Mark your calendars and begin preparing to attend an excellent learning opportunity this fall. The Ohio Partnership for Excellence (OPE) is sponsoring a two day leadership event Sept. 15 - 16.

The conference, "Quest for Success: Celebrating the Journey towards World-Class Performance," will be held at the Columbus Airport Marriott.

This conference is the best example of leadership training available to union members. It provides more than 20 learning sessions and workshops.

Some of the topics offered include:

• Charting your course to performance excellence
• Living Life at Performance Level
• The Catapult Factor – Moving beyond ones perceived potential
• Human Sigma – Innovation & Management of the Human Difference

Planning Considerations:

It is very likely this conference will be available through the PDP program of Workforce Development.

If you are interested in attending but need support with overnights, lost wages, etc. consider asking your chapter or assembly to support your attendance.

Discuss with your supervisor the possibility of attending on work time. This is how OCSEA members gain the leadership expertise they need to manage change in their work, their union and their lives.
