News Your union web source on contract negotiations Union-negotiated pay raise kicks in July 1 July 1, 2008 - With consumer prices rising on everything from gasoline to grapes, OCSEA members are sure to welcome the third wage hike of the current OCSEA and State of Ohio contract. The 3.5 percent pay raise kicks in during this pay period and it will be seen in an upcoming paycheck. This union-negotiated raise will, for example, increase wages of a Pay Range 28 bargaining unit employee in Step 5 from $17.74 per hour to $18.36. Please note that this pay raise is in addition to any step increase you may be eligible for.
