Tell Ohio lawmakers not to give lump of coal for Christmas; Urge state senators to wrap up budget fix before holidays
Dec. 16, 2009
- OCSEA is urging state legislators to pass H.B. 318 before the holiday break this year. You can make an impact by sending an email now. Without Senate support of HB 318, however, more budget cuts for vital public services is imminent. FULL STORY

Budget impasse hurts all Ohioans
Dec. 9, 2009
- A group of Senate Republicans have stubbornly dug their heels in and are refusing to budge in providing any answer to the state’s latest budget deficit. Gov. Support government efficiency study and tax freeze over massive consolidations, job cuts
Nov. 3, 2009 - Join with OCSEA and urge state legislators to:

  • SUPPORT HB 343 to study government operations and spending to identify opportunities for creating efficiencies while preserving and maximizing services.
  • SUPPORT House Bill 318 to freeze a tax cut that Ohio just can't afford.
  • OPPOSE Senate Bill 52 to avoid putting thousands of Ohioans at risk by slicing vital state services.
