Join us Saturday, Oct. 7, for National Labor 2006 Canvass Day
Scandal. Corruption. Failures. Every day brings a new revelation and one more reason to be angry.
If you’ve had enough, there is something you can do. On Saturday, Oct. 7, thousands of people in Ohio and all across the country will be taking to the streets to win back our state and America for working families. Door by door, union member by union member, we will be educating voters about the candidates who will fight for working families.
Can we count on your help? The stakes have never been higher in Ohio. Our state and nation are headed in the wrong direction. But we can send a message and set a new course.
We have the opportunity to make a sweeping change at every level of government—from the U.S. House and Senate to governorships and state legislatures. We are confident that with your help, 2006 will be the year that working families, not corporate special interests and high-dollar donors, are the deciding factor in the elections.
So, please join us Oct. 7 for the National Labor 2006 Canvass Day. Even if you’ve never done something like this before, now is the time to get involved. We’ve done all the research and we have all the materials – all we need is a few hours of your time.
Find the location closest to you from the list on the right and sign up to attend.
Can’t join us on Oct. 7? Don’t worry. There are plenty of other ways to get involved. Click here for a full list of events happening in your area and sign up to attend a walk or participate in a phone bank today.
The leaders of the Ohio Civil Service Employees Association hope to see you this Saturday!
