VOLUNTEER ALERT:
Had enough? Make your final GOTV plans to help change Ohio!

Had Enough? Make plans to help change Ohio. VOLUNTEER NOW!

Oct. 29, 2006 - The final days before Election Day are critical to help Get Out The Vote (GOTV).  After nearly two years of headlines about political scandals, there is an unprecedented opportunity on Tuesday, Nov. 7, to elect a new wave of political leaders for Ohio who support state employees, the work they do and the issues they care about.

So what are your plans for the upcoming week? Can you spare some time to help? Click on your zone link below for your local phone bank and lit drop locations, times and contact info.

The primary GOTV activity has switched to phone banking, although some locations are still doing limited lit drops and door knocking. If you would like to participate in a phone bank in your zone, or would like your chapter to “sponsor” a block of time, please first contact the AFL-CIO zone coordinators listed on the OCSEA website to set up a time (see links below). That way you will be assured time on the phones.

For more information, please contact OCSEA at 1-800-266-5615, ext. 2613, or complete the volunteer form at http://www.ocsea.org/volunteer
