News Your source on political action, voter info & legislation LABOR 2006: Nov. 9, 2006 - OCSEA's Board of directors, who gathered in Columbus Nov. 8 and 9 for a strategic planning session, had three "surprise" guests: Ohio's Governor-elect Ted Strickland and Lt. Governor-elect Lee Fisher, plus Ohio's Treasurer-elect Rich Cordray.
These were the first public appearances by the three since their victories were announced Tuesday night.
Strickland, Fisher and Cordray all thanked OCSEA leaders for providing early and vital support to their campaigns, and asked that their appreciation be conveyed to all OCSEA members.
The trio also said they looked forward to working with state employees to bring major improvements to Ohio. Check out the raw video clip (YouTube) of Strickland and Fisher arriving at the board planning session. See Related
