OCSEA District 6 to host first Central Ohio Political Action Day Event Sept. 6

Aug. 14, 2008 - Union members and their families are invited to a special event featuring food, fun and facts about how you can make a difference at the polls this fall.

Join us at OCSEA headquarters between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, for OCSEA District Council 6's first Political Action Day event.

In the morning, donuts and coffee will be served as members hear from speakers about issues that impact working families and volunteer opportunities.

The event will move to the back yard for an afternoon cookout featuring:

• Music
• Games and activities
• Face-painting
• Give-aways
• 50/50 raffle
• Candidate meet-and-greet, and
• Voting machine demonstration.

The event will be held at OCSEA Headquarters, 390 Worthington Rd., Westerville. Download and print the event flier (PDF) and spread the word about this event to co-workers in your chapter or assembly.
