Over the last year, OCSEA Correction and Rehabilitation Assembly activists have been participating in joint budget discussions with DRC management. In fact, assembly leaders proposed that the state make the private prison in Grafton public saving $6 million. However, this proposal has not been implemented yet. The union also made several proposals to reorganize areas in DR&C central office and institutions saving $10 million. Check out DRC Dir.
