Oct. 27, 2009 - OCSEA activists this morning spoke at a press conference to speak out against Senate Bill 52, a bill that is proposing drastic cuts to state government. Hearings were held Tuesday on the bill that would turn 24 agencies into 10 and cut 11,000 state employees. Speakers included:
OCSEA members spoke about the cuts their respective agencies have already faced in the last decade, and why more cuts are not the answer. If you haven’t already, email your state senator now. Or go to ocsea.org/lookup to get your state senator’s phone number and call now. See Related
