Pathways to Excellence presents John Vinyard

Nov. 10, 2005 - The Ohio Quality Network is presenting John Vinyard at the Pathways to Excellence event that will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The topic Vinyard will present is:

"How to Accomplish Long-Term Goals in a Short-Term Environment—Ensuring Organization Sustainability through leadership, Learning and Continuous Improvement."

Mr. Vinyard's flyer declares, "State government, by its nature, must be responsive to changing political issues even when its mission requires a longer term perspective." He will make remarks about this significant challenge and engage the audience in a discussion of the topic.

The event will be held in the ODOT Auditorium, 1980 West Broad Street in Columbus. Social Hour begins at 5:15 p.m. at the Crossroads Café' located in the lower level of ODOT.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER  John Vinyard is a Managing Partner and Founder of Genitect, LLC. John has held several executive leadership positions, and helped four client organizations win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Having been a senior executive himself, he understands the difficulty of organizational change and has worked with numerous leadership teams to help them leverage their current successes.

John has been a Senior Baldrige Examiner, and has worked closely with client leaders as they achieve performance breakthroughs. John has worked in numerous senior line positions (Group VP Manufacturing, Cadmus Communications; VP, Quality and Manufacturing, GenCorp Polymer Products; and Director, Engine Maintenance, United Airlines) and has had personal responsibility for large organizational change.
