Revised grievance guide available
April 21, 2009
- The union's Office of General Counsel this week released for the website, "A Guide to the Grievance, Working Out of Classification and Article 36.05 Procedures" publication related to the 2009-2012 state collective bargaining agreement. FMLA resource now available online to help union members understand recent changes

- This week it just became harder for workers to use their federal family leave benefits. Before leaving office, the outgoing administration made significant changes to the Family and Medical Leave Act. Meanwhile, in sharp contrast, President Barack Obama campaigned on the expansion of the federal law. For now, union members need to know how the current set of rules impacts them.
