News News on active duty and veterans impacting public employee union members OCSEA urges legislators to support veterans' agency with conditions on ODJFS Although the letter expressed support for the consolidation of veterans’ affairs functions, the union is requesting that veterans’ employment representatives who primarily work in the state’s one-stops remain within ODJFS. That way, job-seeking veterans will have access to all the resources the state has available to gain not only employment services but additional services provided by that agency. The move to streamline veterans’ services into a single state agency is part of the governor’s initiative to increase benefits to Ohio veterans.
