Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Veterans and their families can obtain assistance on matters related to benefits, medical programs, license and certification, employment services, womens' issues, homeless matters, organizations, education, publications, and more.

The P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Program: Free Legal Assistance Offered For Ohioans Serving In The Military
Free legal assistance is now available for Ohio servicemen and servicewomen being called to active duty in the war on terrorism. It’s part of a new program unveiled by the Ohio Attorney General. The Attorney General’s P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Program will provide volunteer lawyers from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office to assist enlisted personnel and their families in exercising their rights under the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act. Legal assistance will also be available for estate planning, living wills, and durable powers of attorney for health care. Follow the link above for additional information.
