About the Conference:
Per the OCSEA Constitution, a conference of subordinate body presidents can be held by the OCSEA Board of Directors biennially, in years in which there is no regular convention. Chapters send delegates to this biennial event to focus on the goals of the union and to learn skills for building local solidarity.
The OCSEA President's Conference will take place Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris located at 8700 Lyra Dr, Columbus, OH 43240. Pre-conference events will take place the evening of Friday, July 17, 2026.
Registration:
Chapters, districts and assemblies can now register their delegates for the conference. The delegate registration deadline was June 30, 2026, and has passed. REGISTRATION IS CLOSED!
Registration information was mailed to all subordinate body Presidents in late May. The conference registration form may be copied as needed. Send a registration form for each attending delegate no later than June 30, 2026 to:

Registration check in will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with the conference beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m. Early check in will also be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. There is no registration fee and lunch will be provided on Saturday. Make sure to indicate Release Time needs on the conference registration form.

Please note: The deadline for lodging at the Hilton/Columbus Polaris has passed and all rooms are booked. See information on the overflow hotel below. Delegates attending the conference can reserve a room by phone at the OCSEA discounted room rate by calling the overflow hotel directly. Delegates are responsible for payment on their own at the time of reservation. The overflow hotel is .5 mile drive from the conference.

Pre-conference Training:
A Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Training will take place Friday, July 17, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the hotel. Please note on your registration form if you are attending the Friday night training as well.
