Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from your Union!

Dear OCSEA Brothers and Sisters,

As we head into the week of Christmas, your OCSEA leaders want to wish you a Happy Holidays and say thank you for all you do to make Ohio and our union strong. Your dedication to public service and community enriches every Ohioan's life. And it's that dedication by public union members––from keeping our roads safe for winter weather travel to making sure families have the resources they need––that makes the holidays possible for so many. And, thank you to all members who will be working throughout the Holiday season. Your service to Ohio is immeasurable.

We also want to thank you for your union support from every corner of the state. From completing pledge cards and attending rallies to showing support for the OCSEA Bargaining Team to speaking up for what's right and enforcing your union contracts in the work place, you are the heart and soul of the union! We've declared this the Season of Solidarity, because it's union members like you, fighting for a middle class voice on the job, that make us all strong and ensure we can enjoy the holidays to the fullest.

As we head into bargaining of the State Contract in the new year, we must continue to join together in solidarity to remind management that a union voice is what makes this state and this nation thrive! A strong union workforce makes us all strong! If you've not yet signed a Bargaining Pledge Card, there's still time to do so into the new year. We've already gathered thousands of cards, but the more we can show management we are united, the stronger we will be. A strong union contract is worth fighting for, because it's what hard working public union members deserve!

Again, thank you for your service to Ohio and this union! May you and yours have a blessed Christmas and New Year filled with solidarity, goodwill and prosperity!

In Solidarity,

Chris Mabe, OCSEA President

Rocky Jolly, OCSEA Vice President

Kathy Gersper, OCSEA Secretary-Treasurer
