The annual OCSEA Veterans Committee Conference was held at the OCSEA Union Hall this past weekend to honor those union members who have served in the armed forces and their families and to give veterans resources they can really use.

The Committee awarded Bill Homer, a Correction Officer from Mansfield Correctional and a U.S. Navy veteran, with the OCSEA Veteran of the Year Award for his community service and support of those who serve. The group also honored OCSEA Supporters of the Year: OCSEA member (Chapter 5700) Helen Carter and retired teacher Tom Ellis. See the photo gallery.
