Chapters urged to take the Hurricane relief fund challenge

Posted Sep. 5, 2017 by

Last week, the great generosity of America came out as citizens across this nation heard the call and came to the aide of those Texans seriously impacted by Hurricane Harvey. This included OCSEA chapters Delaware 2100, Attorney General 2580, MPF Tri-County 4950 and Marion-Morrow 5100 that answered AFSCME President Lee Saunders' request for action to help those victimized and displaced by the storm.

And now those chapters are urging other chapters to step up too and donate to the AFSCME fund that will directly help AFSCME sisters and brothers in Texas get back on their feet. The coming weeks and months will be difficult ones as they try to put their lives back together.

Join the the challenge! Chapters 2100, 2580, 4950 and 5100 challenge all OCSEA chapters to donate $200 or more to the AFSCME Fallen Heroes Fund to help our brothers and sisters impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
