Congrats to Gabrielle Jones, one of the recipients of this year's AFSCME Family Scholarship. Her mother is Michelle Postiy, an OCSEA union member who works as a Physicist for the Ohio Dept. of Health in the Akron area. Gabrielle will be attending John Carroll University in the fall with the goal of becoming a corporate law attorney.
Gabrielle is one of 12 AFSCME dependents around the nation to receive the prestigious scholarship. The member-only scholarship assists public employees with the ever-rising cost of a 4-year college education. Congrats to Gabrielle and her proud mom, Michelle! See all the winners at afscme.org.
