Union announces $500 UET benefit increase!

The Union Education Trust (UET) is excited to announce a generous increase in the union-negotiated Career Improvement Program (CIP) benefit to $4,000 per fiscal year. This is a $500 annual increase for eligible State of Ohio bargaining unit employees. This career improvement fund increase is effective July 1, 2019.

What does the increase mean for OCSEA union members? Now you have $500 more ($4,000 total) EVERY year to attend colleges, universities, vocational and trade schools, specialty education programs, and adult career centers to help improve your job skills, advance your career and enhance your employment security.
