Honoring exemplary unionism!

Do you know of an OCSEA activist who should be the recipient of the next OCSEA Phil Carter Activist of the Year Award? Nominate them by March 31, 2022 at OCSEA.org/Activist-of-the-Year-Award.

At this past year's OCSEA Biennial Convention, OCSEA delegates honored ODOT union leader Phil Carter for his union activism. The new OCSEA Board of Directors' activism award was presented to and named for brother Phil Carter for his decades of dedicated service to the union and the labor movement. Phil's love and dedication for the union is unwavering even as he faces a serious health battle. "No matter the health battles he's fighting, he's still active, he still loves this union, and he's still fighting for people to get involved," said OCSEA District 5 board member, activist and friend, Peggy Joseph, this past fall.
